unrelated: review of Bret Easton Ellis' oeuvre by Doug Wallen/Ice Hockey Hair
"READING: American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis: And with that, I've read all five Ellis books, thanks entirely to Angus lending them to me so eagerly. This one was tough because, like Fight Club, I love the movie and have seen it a dozen-plus times. And yes, this is very shocking (no wonder it's sealed in plastic in stores) but if you've read any other Ellis books, you'll get it. Great stuff, and all the better for its icy vacantness. It's been a pleasure soaking up Ellis' complete works while in Oz."
